But once we lose the time we had, it becomes impossible to bring it back. Making the best out of our time <em>must <\/em>be our prerogative so we may be better versions of ourselves tomorrow!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong><em>What is the point of this analogy you ask? The answer is Time Management!<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Today more than ever, time management has become a skill of prime importance. Student life is filled to the brim with <strong>grades, extracurriculars, the need to socialise and the constant struggle in managing it all!<\/strong> It is understood that on their own specific levels, each of these concerns is important for holistic mental growth. However, between academics, co-curricular activities and just finding the time to rest, it can be quite a challenge managing it all. <em>(That\u2019s where this blog comes in!)<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>So what does it take to procure balance and find your zen? <em>Read on to find out!<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Make A Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Everything goes <em>much <\/em>better provided it\u2019s done systematically and on time. So, put yourself on a schedule and make yourself accountable. Create a realistic schedule that works for you and then stick to it. Remember, that every person exhibits different capabilities and what works for someone else may not necessarily work for you. So, it\u2019s imperative that you draft a schedule that suits <em>you <\/em>perfectly. Also, ensure you maintain a balance and give yourself the space to rest between tasks. Slowly learn to manage and stick to your schedule, and that right there <em>is the first baby step!<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Prioritise What Is Most Important<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>After knowing \u201cwhat to do\u201d and \u201cwhen it has to be done\u201d, it becomes important to know the answer to \u201chow to do it\u201d. The answer is prioritising. <em>What must be prioritised first? That\u2019s easy!<\/em> As of the time of reading this, you\u2019re most probably an Excelsiorite struggling with managing their time. We\u2019re here to tell you that\u2019s perfectly fine. It is, after all, a learning process and we are here to teach you. So for ultimate success, your prime concern must be being good at what you do, and prepare yourself for future progress and successes. For that, you must prioritise your academics, but at the same time, maintain a balance. Focus on extracurriculars and your interest too! But know what is your first priority and that is what is going to secure your future. As long as you deal with the tough things first, the rest is easy.<em> So, prioritising will, in turn, make it easier for you to enjoy your hobbies and do what you love most!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Know When To Say No<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>It\u2019s okay if you can\u2019t go to a friend\u2019s party every now and then because you have to focus on other things<\/em>. Be honest with what you can handle in a day, and learn that it is okay to say no to social plans. At the end of the day, you must secure a good future and follow your passions, and some sacrifices can always be made in order to maintain balance. Whether those sacrifices are in socialising, or not, is indeed your smart decision to make!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Be Optimistic<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>Optimism is a happiness magnet. <\/em>Believing that you can manage time effectively even when things seem tough is the most essential step! Believe that you can do it, and surely you will. Pessimism and procrastination are the hurdles in your way to your finish line of pure glory!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>At the end of the day, it is safe to say that when it comes to personal interests, passions and academics, a fulfilled life is not one, but a balance of it all. We must always keep a calm head to progress, that is the trick that makes or breaks it.
